ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality System
We are proud to have earned the ISO 9001:2015 certification. A globally recognized standard for quality systems, ISO 9001:2015 mandates that companies, such as Coast Label, must create and follow a carefully crafted quality control systems that comply with the international standard. To ensure ongoing compliance, we must internally evaluate our adherence to that system, all the while being regularly audited by a 3rd party registrar.

Our Proven Process
UL Compliance Labels
Coast Label has both a UL Printers Agreement (which authorizes us to print UL marks) and certification to produce UL 969 performance Recognized Component labels. As part of maintaining our standing with UL, we undergo quarterly surprise inspections from their auditors to check our compliance.
Our recognized component system has multiple approved materials and configurations that cover a wide gamut of US and Canadian (UL and cUL) performance criteria. These options include thermal transfer approved constructions that allow for variable information to be added in-production at your facility, while still covered as a Recognized Component.
Write-N-Seal Calibration Labels
On-device calibration records can be an important part of any system. Long-lasting notes are key, yet the most durable materials usually don’t accept handwriting. This can lead to slower, more involved, and costlier marking systems. Our solution is the Write-N-Seal label. It offers the flexibility of quick notation, coupled with long term durability.
The secret is the self-lamination feature we build into each label. The face material is coated to accept handwriting and stamps. Once marked, the technician can easily seal the writing, protecting it from both marring and tampering in the form of additional writing.
Tamper Seals
An important component of maintaining a proper sterilization system. At Coast Label we make custom seals that work across a wide range of applications including medical labeling. These seals can include such features as the ability to accept handwriting or preprinting the specific information and details you need to keep things organized and in check.
In addition to the actual printing, we offer a variety of tamper solutions: from the sophistication of void marks and patterns to the simple, yet elegant solutions, such as perforated “cap” labels that easily tear to indicate any tampering.
Custom Labels Kits
As medical labeling products become more complex, they often require more certification, warning and compliance markings. This can lead to more labels–a lot of them. Even with strict inventory controls, issues such as out-of-date, missing, or old labels can begin to creep up. Custom label kits bring everything together in one easy to manage package.
Additional benefits include the ability to add relevant information in the sidebar such as facility addresses, part numbers, related files and procedures, and even application instructions. Plus with all the labels on one sheet, color and material consistency is perfect, and the costs associated with job set-up are all combined together–saving you money. From a quality perspective, the missed application of labels becomes readily apparent, as the sheet (instead of multiple independent rolls) is the main reference point. Error detection improved inventory management, and cost savings all in one, easy to use package.
